You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Whitehall Avenue between Saturday 18th April 18:05hrs and Sunday 19th April 23:01hrs

 The  method of attack was by blow torch and then snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

THE POINT Of ENTRY IS A SIDE DOOR, THE SUSPECTS HAVE ATTACKED THE  LOCK BY BURNING THE DOOR FRAME, REMOVING LOCKING BARREL, AND HAVE TAKEN VARIOUS ITEMS BEFORE LEAVING.

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (times) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
